We are looking to add a developer to the Application Development Group to design and code functional
programs and applications. The Developer will work as part of a team and individually to meet the requirements of the position. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mindset and keen eye for detail with the goal of writing clean code to produce fully functional software applications according to business requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications to support the business operations
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into
technical solutions
Optimize and troubleshoot existing codebases and database queries for performance and scalabilityDevelop and maintain APIs and integrations with third-party systemsParticipate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processesEnsure adherence to best practices in software development, security, and data integrityDocument technical specifications and system architectureLearn and adapt to changes in requirements from the businessQualifications
1 to 3 years' experience in applications developmentBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar disciplineFamiliarity with one or more of the following programming languages : C#, Java, C++, PythonUnderstanding of Object-Oriented Programming and design patternsKnowledge of relational database design and development, ideally with SQL ServerStrong understanding of data structuresExcellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentCommitment to continuously learn emerging technologies and stay up to date with best practicesCompensation
Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may
be eligible for an annual discretionary performance-based bonus, which is determined based on firm and individual performance.

Employees are required to follow the in-office work schedule. Currently, the Application Development Group in New York follows a hybrid model where employees work in-office Tuesday through Thursday. Employees have the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. This schedule is subject to change based on organizational needs and policies.
