We’re representing a well-established commercial / institutional construction firm based in Northeast Ohio that’s growing rapidly and investing heavily in its preconstruction capability. They’re seeking a Senior Estimator / Preconstruction Manager to lead estimating and preconstruction efforts on major projects across commercial, healthcare, education, and institutional markets.

What You’ll Do

Lead full-scope estimating, cost modeling, and preconstruction strategy for complex bids

Manage budgets, scopes, and value-engineering with architects, clients, and subcontractors

Oversee buy-out, subcontractor selection, and estimation-to-execution transition

Mentor and build the estimating team; improve processes and tools

Drive alignment between design and construction to deliver accurate GMPs

What You Bring

Proven experience as a senior estimator or precon lead in commercial / institutional construction

Deep understanding of design-build, CM / GC, negotiated contracts

Advanced skills in cost estimating, value engineering, and scope development

Familiarity with software tools (Procore, Bluebeam, takeoff software, etc.)

Strength in leadership, communication, and collaboration across teams
