Description :

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medsurg / Ortho unit.

The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant setting.

This is a night shift role, requiring the nurse to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.

The nurse will be responsible for managing care for patients with orthopedic diagnoses, including joint replacements and fractures.

The nurse will work with a patient ratio of 1 : 5-6.

There will be 3 CNAs available per shift, with a patient ratio of 1 : 7-8.

Charge nurses are available 24 / 7.

Experience with telemonitoring is preferred, but RN's will not be required to read strips.

Nurses may float to other units as needed and are expected to participate in the holiday rotation.

The dress code for the unit is royal blue scrubs.

Candidates must hold a valid nursing license and an unexpired copy of their driver's license is required for submission.

All candidates must comply with vaccination requirements.
