Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Pay : $27.50 per hour
- Certification bonus of $100 per ASE certification (up to $700)
- Quarterly bonus : up to $500 every quarter
- Sign-on bonus : $1,250 at 30 days and $1,250 at 90 days
- Schedule : Tuesday–Saturday
- Hours : Second Shift Tuesday–Friday, 2 : 00-10 : 30 pm; Saturdays 7 : 00-3 : 30 am

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)Vocational or technical certification, post-secondary degree or technical certifications (preferred)Basic tools requiredDemonstrated aptitude and experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including routine preventive maintenance (oil changes, brake, tire work)Two (2) years or more of combined classroom training and work experience (required)Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A (preferred)Ability to obtain CDL within 6 months of hirePass Ryder drug testPass DOT physicalPass Ryder road testPass Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for last 3 yearsResponsibilities
Perform vehicle maintenance and repair dutiesConduct standard vehicle maintenanceInspect and repair standard componentsPerform preventive maintenanceDiagnose mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer when applicableIdentify root cause of failures and perform repairs as requiredReplace defective components as instructedPerform facility maintenance dutiesInteract with customers / drivers to determine nature of complaint when assigned a taskUtilize key functions of shop management system and electronic documentationWork in accordance with all federal, provincial and corporate compliance guidelines (safety, DOT, MOT)Perform other support duties as required to support operations (e.g., service island support)Seniority level
