Contract Analyst

As a Contract Analyst for the Strategic Partners Services & Solutions organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives and enhancing the effectiveness of our capital and service strategies through comprehensive analytic, contracting, and business expertise. This is an ideal role for someone who holds high attention to detail and works effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This position is open to remote within the US.
Responsibilities may include the following, and other duties may be assigned :
- Conducting root cause analysis and interpreting data to support contract and pricing decisions.
- Ensuring accuracy, identifying trends, and driving strategic improvements across pricing operations.
- Administers, extends, and negotiates standard and non-standard contracts.
- Conducts complex capital and service proposal preparation and contract administration activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
- Prepares quotes, programs, processes specifications, progress, and other reports for leadership and marketing in a timely manner.
- Provides guidance to the sales team of contractual obligations; compiles and analyzes data and maintains historical information.
- Actively collaborate with internal stakeholders, facilitating communication and coordination.
- Assist and drive internal transformation and improvement initiatives on process, reporting, and tools that help deliver operational excellence for the sales team.
- Participate on internal calls with the field to discuss customer's goals and assist in creating solutions regarding capital and service opportunities.
- Monitor contract performance and ensure timely renewals and amendments.
- Communicates with internal and external customers.
- May provide training to field partners and other employees within job area.
Must have : minimum requirements :
Requires a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.Requires advanced practical knowledge within a specific discipline typically gained through extensive work experience and / or education.Nice to have :
Smartsheet, Excel and PowerPoint skillsPrevious experience with SAP, PowerBI, and SalesforceExperience working in large, global, highly-matrixed organizational structure.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high-attention to detail.Familiarity with Medtronic policies and programs.Experience in the medical device industry.Knowledge of contract law.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational and time management skills.Medtronic offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package. The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification / education, market conditions, and location.
