Position Type : Locum tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Location : Hagerstown, Maryland (Maryland CRNA jobs)

Healthcare Setting : Outpatient Surgery Center (2 Operating Rooms)

Assignment Dates : September 14, 2025 – July 31, 2026

Shift : 8-hour days, 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM

Hours Per Week : 32

Call : No call required

Charting System : IPro Electronic Medical Records

Privileging Timeframe : 30 days

Case Types : General anesthesia, orthopedic anesthesia

Supervision : Independent CRNA practice; MDs manage their own cases

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Qualifications

Current license as a registered professional nurse (RN) and CRNA in Maryland

Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program

Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

Active Maryland state license required

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist preferred

CRNA Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments and verify patient consent

Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients and families

Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia for general and orthopedic surgical procedures

Monitor and document patients' physiological status throughout surgery

Perform clinical interventions and respond to anesthesia emergencies as needed

Collaborate with surgical and medical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
