Job descriptionMust possess a current CSC-AD certification in good standing. Demonstrated experience in conducting assessments, counseling, and maintaining thorough documentation. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential. Familiarity with regulatory standards, including COMAR, is preferred. Competitive hourly rate : $32-$36 / hour. Flexible remote work options. A supportive environment for supervision and training. Full-time position with a balance of flexibility and commitment.

Overview
Healthcare Recruiters International is actively seeking a dedicated Certified Substance Abuse Counselor to join a behavioral health organization that prioritizes ethical, client-centered care. This exciting role offers a dynamic combination of remote flexibility and essential clinical engagement in individual and group therapy settings.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and provide ongoing counseling to clients.
- Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions as needed.
- Design, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs.
- Document all sessions and client progress in compliance with COMAR and agency standards.
- Collaborate closely with the Clinical Director for supervision and professional development.
