CHI St. Joseph Childrens Health is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Co-Teacher at the St. John Neumann School for Children & Families. To be considered please submit your resume and cover letter highlighting why your experience makes you a good candidate for this position.
Throughout the day Co-Teachers engage with the programs in ways that :
- Assist lead teacher in the delivery of quality program support and services for children and families accessing the childcare and early childhood education programs of CHI St. Joseph Childrens Health.
- Aid in planning preparing and delivering lesson plans special activities and provocations that facilitate active learning consistent with the philosophies and objectives of CHI St. Joseph Childrens Health.
- Support in preparing and maintaining a safe healthy inviting nurturing and engaging environment for all children families and colleagues.
- Maintain positive and proactive approaches to discipline and student behavior in accordance with the behavior policy plans and mindful philosophies endorsed by CHI St. Joseph Childrens Health.
- Support the Class Teacher in maintaining and regularly communicating accurate and complete records to students colleagues and parents regarding students progress development and needs as appropriate.
- Assist in updating all necessary records accurately and completely on students and activities as required by laws policies and school regulations.
- Assist in multiple classrooms if / when the position requires it.
- Encourages parent and community involvement.
