Core Responsibilities

• Delivery and Handling : Drive vehicles on assigned routes or as needed to pick-up, deliver, and store specimens and other medical materials.
• Client Interaction : Maintain a positive image and communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and the public.
• Quality Assurance : Perform route audits and ensure the accuracy and safety of sample handling.
• Route Management : Gain knowledge of multiple routes to provide backup for other drivers.
• Documentation : Accurately maintain records and documentation for all deliveries and collections.
• Punctuality : Report to work on time and adhere to attendance guidelines.
• Vehicle Maintenance : Keep the vehicle area clean, manage biohazard disposal, and perform basic service checks (e.g., fluid levels, fuel replenishment).
• Professionalism : Adhere to our grooming and uniform policies.
• Support Duties : Assist with specimen accessioning and other tasks as directed by the Logistics Manager or Supervisor.
