Senior Technician - Mechanical

Loureiro Engineering Associates is seeking an Industrial Senior Technician to support our Mechanical and Industrial Wastewater Services team in Plainville, Connecticut. This hands-on role is ideal for a mechanically inclined professional with strong technical and troubleshooting skills who thrives in dynamic field environments. You'll support a range of projects involving piping installations and operations / maintenance (O&M) activities, gaining exposure to diverse service areas and industrial systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute and delegate assigned tasks and work plans with technical accuracy and timeliness.
• Install piping in industrial and manufacturing settings.
• Perform drilling and / or coring for pipe supports and penetrations.
• Perform troubleshooting of remediation systems.
• Perform equipment installations, maintenance, and preventive maintenance as required on capital assets and production equipment.
• Read and comprehend work instructions, diagrams, and schematics; work from drawings and schematics / diagrams.
• Use precision measuring instruments to check machines or mechanical equipment for accuracy and reliability.
• Refer difficulties to Superintendent or Project Manager; comply with internal and client safety standards.
