• Healthcare Setting : 17-bed ICU / CSICU with advanced cardiovascular and surgical care\n
• Assignment Type : Travel nursing contract\n
• Start Date : November 24, 2025\n
• End Date : February 23, 2026\n
• Contract Duration : 13 weeks\n
• Shift : 3x12-hour day shifts (07 : 00 - 19 : 00)\n
• Hours per Week : 36\n
• Patient Ratios : 1 : 2\n
• Weekend Coverage : Required (12 weekend shifts per contract)\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary : $1700-$1820\nICU Registered Nurse Qualifications\n
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required, BSN preferred)\n
• Active Arkansas or Compact State RN License\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience, including open heart / heart recovery\n
• Previous charge nurse experience required\n
• Travel nursing experience highly preferred\n
• Certifications : BLS and ACLS (required); NIHSS preferred\n
• Experience with Cerner electronic charting preferred\n
• Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency\n
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical / religious exemptions considered)\n
• This is a safety-sensitive position under Arkansas Act 593\nICU RN Responsibilities\n
• Deliver direct patient care in a high-acuity ICU / CSICU setting for cardiovascular, surgical, and critically ill patients\n
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans\n
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide evidence-based care\n
• Provide leadership and mentorship to fellow nursing staff\n
• Manage advanced therapies and equipment, including IABP, ECMO, and Impella devices\n
• Demonstrate expertise in arterial line management, ventilator management, cardiac drips, and post-cardiac surgery care\n
