ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Omaha, Nebraska.

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

\nRN - PCU Stepdown
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• Every other weekend requirement
\n• Every third holiday requirement
\n• No call or standby requirements
\n• Patient ratio of 1:4-5
\n• Fast-paced progressive care unit with 35 beds
\n• Care for adults and geriatrics including cardiac, nephrology, stroke, diabetes, and continuous EEG monitoring patients
\n• Required to titrate drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
\n• May float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab units
\n• First week onboarding followed by 1-2 days floor orientation
\n• Must pass open book exam on Friday during orientation with 90% score
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
\n• BSN not required
\n• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination
\n• Driver's license required at submittal
\n• Must be located more than 50 miles from facility
\n• EPIC charting system
\n• Successful candidates demonstrate positive attitude, communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities

\nThis healthcare facility operates a 35-bed progressive care unit providing intermediate-level care between intensive care and general medical floors. The facility is a Level 2 trauma center offering acute care services with comprehensive cardiac, neurological, and nephrology programs. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes modern technology including continuous EEG monitoring capabilities.
