WPX is hiring a full-time Warehouse Associate at our Airway Heights facility to support our Critical Parts / Supply Chain operations. This role is also referred to as a Supply Chain Specialist.
Schedule :
- Monday-Friday, 7 : 00 AM-3 : 30 PM (typical)
- Rotating on-call weekends

Job Description
SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for receiving, picking, processing orders, and shipping / delivering time critical shipments. This is an active warehouse position in a fast-paced environment that includes unloading freight, unpacking freight, stocking shelves, maintaining inventory control, picking orders, packing and preparing orders for shipment, working with will-call customers, and making time-sensitive deliveries driving a cargo van or similar vehicle (less than 10,00 GVW). Deliveries are made in a timely and efficient manner following standard company procedures and safety requirements. Assignments and work duties must meet established deadlines and performance goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Pick and pack parcels for shipmentShelve and store product and maintain accurate recordsShip and deliver ordersMaintain an accurate physical inventoryProcess invoices and maintain organized filing systemMaintain accurate electronic and written records of all shipmentsMake deliveries using a company van or similar vehicleInteract with customers via e-mail, telephone, and in person at will-call desk or on siteInput data for all transactions into an internet-based Warehouse Mangement SystemSafely operate and maintain assigned vehicle, following all safety and vehicle maintenance proceduresEstablish and maintain courteous business relationships with drivers, customers, clients and co-workersMaintain excellent work habits including attendance, punctuality & safety proceduresInstall and use company provided Apps on a personal smartphone deviceMaintain a neat, clean, well-groomed, professional appearance including proper uniformMaintain warehouse in a clean and orderly mannerAdhere to all company policies, procedures and guidelinesPerform other duties as assignedPosition Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED)
High School diploma or equivalentMust be at least 23 years old and hold a current, valid drivers' license with a clean driving record (MVR)Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekendsWarehouse shipping and receiving experience preferredPrevious on-the-job experience driving a cargo van or larger vehicleDemonstrated knowledge of defensive driving techniques, local geographic area and roadwaysAble to read and follow roadmapsRepeatedly enter and exit a cargo vehicle, bend, stoop, reach, walk push, pull, carry, lift arms over head, balance, kneel crouch and crawlRoutinely and repeatedly push, pull, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 70 poundsAble to stand on feet on cement floor for up to eight (8) hours per dayRequires good vision and depth perceptionMust have a working smartphone for scanningAbility to log in to a computer and read and compose emailClearly read, write, speak, and understand EnglishAble to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers and fractions in all units of measureAbility to keypunch data into a computerAbove-average skill with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and OutlookSafely operate a cargo van or light-to-medium duty box truckSafely operate a forklift and follow all safety and maintenance proceduresWork as directed or unsupervisedEstablish priorities and meet goals even under pressureMaintain a cheerful, courteous demeanor in difficult situationsMust be able to prove eligibility for employment in the United StatesIf hired, you must be able to pass :Comprehensive background checkDrug test prior to first day of workTSA Security Threat AssessmentWPX is a drug free workplace, and all employees are subject to random drug tests.
