We are seeking a motivated Lien Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate will have strong medical insurance knowledge and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
As a Lien Assistant, you will be responsible for initiating health insurance liens related to personal injury cases. This includes communicating with lienholders, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to ensure accurate documentation, timely resolution, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities :
- Initiate health insurance liens.
- Review, verify, and process health insurance subrogation and lien claims.
- Communicate with subrogation companies to obtain lien details and updates.
- Maintain accurate and organized case files, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Support lien analysts with follow-up calls, correspondence, and document preparation for health insurance.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred.Familiarity with subrogation companies (Medi-Cal, Medicare, Private Health insurance)Familiarity with health insurance processes, medical billing, or lien resolution.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to manage multiple files and prioritize tasks.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Benefits :
