Job Description Summary :

The Space and Mission Critical Systems group at Draper is seeking a motivated Systems Engineer to perform key systems modeling and engineering tasks in support of Draper's Space Domain Awareness business area. Leveraging Draper's expertise in spacecraft systems (for Earth orbit, lunar, and deep space applications), hypersonics, fault-tolerant avionics, autonomy, and / or guidance navigation and control (GN&C), the candidate will support the group's mission in developing early stage concepts all the way through to fully-functional deployed solutions.

This position will involve the following :

• Developing systems concepts, requirements, and architectures
• Predicting and analyzing mission performance and reliability
• Use of Model Based Systems Engineering Tools
• Trade studies and technology demonstrations

The ideal candidate will be capable of working and communicating effectively with team members from multiple engineering disciplines, program management, senior engineering management, and customers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is

$82,300.00 - $205,750.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Union ranges will be in compliance with the collective bargaining agreement's approved rates by location and role.
