Job Summary :

Palmdale Oil currently operates in more than 50 counties across Florida and provides a wide range of tailored commercial fuel and lubricant solutions to customers in the agricultural, industrial, construction, marine, and government sectors. Operating out of 15 locations statewide, the company is a leader in the industry in the procurement and sale of gasoline, diesel, biodiesel, propane, commercial and industrial lubricants, and chemicals that are used across a diverse set of end markets.

Palmdale Oil is seeking a Propane Sales Representative who will be responsible for serving the Arcadia, Port Charlotte, and Punta Gorda area. This role is responsible for generating new business, maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and supporting the growth of Palmdale Propane’s market presence.

Key Responsibilities :

• Responsible for aggressive prospecting and soliciting new business as well as retaining core customers currently in a relationship with Palmdale Propane.
• Design strategic plans to achieve monthly goals.
• Prepare and present sales proposals to prospective customers.
• Ability to read blueprints and familiarity with pipe sizing and appliance sales.
• Responsible for assisting with permits with the appropriate governmental entities for approval for proposed jobs.
• Ensure that communication with our customers is key and that all appointments are kept or the customer is notified immediately when there is a change in scheduling.
• Fundamental knowledge of the National Fuel Gas Code (NFPA 54) and Storage and Handling of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (NFPA 58).
• Consistently communicate and demonstrate support and our Core Values, Mission Statement and Vision.
