Box Truck Driver – Warehouse & Delivery Support

Location : Frederick, Maryland

Job Type : Contract to Hire

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM (with potential Saturday morning overtime)

About the Role

We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Box Truck Driver to support our warehouse operations and delivery services. This role combines general warehouse duties with driving responsibilities, including serving as a backup for our “Never Out” program—ensuring timely product delivery to clients, even outside regular schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately locate and transfer products for daily sales orders, ensuring items match order descriptions.
  • Prepare shipments according to company standards.
  • Load and unload vehicles, including handling items from rolling carts.
  • Assist in moving products within the facility and packing carts for delivery.
  • Support warehouse associates with general tasks as needed.
  • Safely operate a company-provided vehicle to deliver products between locations, following all traffic laws and safety protocols.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • DOT and a valid driver's license.
  • 6+ months of warehouse experience (preferred).
  • 1+ year of box truck delivery driving experience (preferred).
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and walking up to 2 miles during the workday.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and correct errors.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage time effectively.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 / hr.
