$240,000 to $375,000 per year

About The Position

Are you a skilled and compassionate Neonatologist seeking to make a meaningful impact in a top-tier Regional Level IV NICU? Join an award-winning hospital in sunny Long Beach, California , delivering exceptional neonatal care in a collaborative, research-forward, and family-centered environment. Work alongside renowned pediatric subspecialists and academic institutions in one of the most respected NICUs in the Western U.S.

This is a permanent, full-time position with opportunities for clinical leadership, advanced procedures, and teaching in a setting that values professional growth and innovation.

🏥 Position Highlights :

Location : Long Beach, CA

Setting : Regional Level IV NICU

Daily Census : ~55 patients

Annual Admissions : ~1,400

Schedule : Varied shifts including day and possible night / weekend rotation

Collaborations : Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Pediatric Cardiology, Neonatal Surgery, and more

Services Include : Whole-body cooling

iNO therapy

Small Baby Unit

Maternal / neonatal transport

Palliative care

Telemedicine

Academic Affiliations : University of California Irvine & Children’s Hospital of Orange County

Job Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years) in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine – Required

California Medical License or eligibility to obtain – Required

Experience in NICU practice – Required (list years of experience)

Clean malpractice and license history – Highly Preferred

Willingness to relocate or currently local – Required

Visa sponsorship (J1 / H1B) : Not accepted

Locums : Not accepted
