Job description

Job Description BAE Systems is looking for a Technical Order Management Agency (TOMA Support) to join our team for an exciting opportunity supporting an acquisition program for the Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications System. The successful candidate will provide support and creation of digital engineering and Model Based System Engineering for the Strategic Automated Command Control System (SACCS) Acquisition Programs. This program is designed to extend SACCS systems life and transition into the follow-on system, known as Sentinel ICBM System (formerly Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD))

Candidates may be called upon to augment organic resources by providing breadth and depth of capabilities for :

  • Support establishment, coordination, documentation and justification of TO data requirements
  • Provide inputs and updates to contractual documents
  • Develop methods, plans, and feedback (control) requirements to meet objectives for TO management
  • Review, recommend changes to specifications and regulations, draft new specifications and regulations, and support accomplishment of assigned projects and other technical order related assignments
  • Review, daily, a variety of TO database products and correct data as necessary
  • Track TO system for program change requests; advise Government if further action is required
  • Assist when technical data transitions from older formats to new digital systems
  • Participate in reviews and verification activities
  • Oversee the distribution of technical orders in both paper and electronic formats through ETIMS
  • Assist with preparation of TCTOs to support configuration changes and inspections for Government Equipment Specialist approval
  • Support execution of configuration control board directives by partnering with the technical content managers to manage the publication and distribution of technical order changes

Potential candidates will validate the abilities to accomplish the following activities while demonstrating strong leadership attributes of a team of subject matter experts accomplishing the same.

Pursuant to Government contract, this position requires US Citizenship status.

This position is only located at Hill AFB, Utah.

#ASFS Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • 7+ years of directly related experience in USAF logistics management, with a significant focus on technical order (TO) management.
  • 3+ years of progressive responsibility providing technical leadership in logistics functions
  • In-depth knowledge of USAF technical order systems, policies, and procedures, including but not limited to :
  • ETIMS (Enhanced Technical Information Management System)

  • TO distribution and management processes
  • Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs) and their implementation
  • AFMAN 21-303 (Management of Technical Orders)
  • AFMAN 23-110 (USAF Supply Manual)
  • Proven ability to interpret and apply USAF technical orders, regulations, and directives.
  • Experience in developing and implementing TO management plans and procedures.
  • Experience in conducting TO reviews and audits to ensure compliance with USAF standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex TO-related issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Active US DoD Secret Security Clearance granted within the last 5 years.
  • Demonstrated self-discipline to plan and prioritize their own work with successful results.
  • Due to its special-access, classified working environment, this position is only located at Hill Air Force Base, UT, and is not conducive to telework schedules.
  • Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Prior experience working directly with a USAF Technical Order Management Agency (TOMA).
  • Experience in developing and delivering TO training programs.
  • Experience with TO data migration and conversion projects.
  • In depth experience working with configuration control boards
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies for technical order management
  • Detailed working knowledge of configuration management principles, practices, and databases as they relate to technical documentation
  • Expertise with ETIMS functionality, including data entry, reporting, and system administration.
  • Experience with Risk Management Framework and how it applies to technical orders.
  • Pay Information

    Full-Time Salary Range : $90373 - $153634

    Please note : This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to : business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
