Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator

NEPW Logistics is northern New England's leading warehousing, logistics and transportation provider. Warehouse Associates receive, input, sort, load and unload products and perform various other warehouse tasks.

Essential Functions

  • Operates a lift-truck loading & unloading trucks.
  • Changing out propane tanks on lift when out of Fuel.
  • Receive & select pallets for outbound.
  • Track shipments using a handheld scanner.
  • Process, package and ship orders accurately
  • Organize stocks and maintain inventory
  • Inspect products for defects and damages
  • Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments
  • Organize warehouse space
  • Receive, unload, and place incoming inventory items appropriately
  • Check, verify and fill customer invoices
  • Follows all safety requirements and regulations
  • Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
  • Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
  • Perform other responsibilities as directed.
  • All other duties as assigned

  • Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
  • Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system

  • Works well independently

    • Physical Requirements

  • Maximum lifting / carrying 50 - 60lbs.
  • Frequent lifting / carrying 10lbs.
