Description

Applications for Part-Time Adjunct Instructor pools are continually accepted (unless otherwise specified) by the District. Southwestern College is looking to hire a part-time instructor to teach Mexican-American History II (MAS / HIST 142) : The curriculum Covers the history of the Mexican-American experience from 1846 to the present day. Emphasizes the political economic and social evolution of the Mexican-American people within the context of both Mexican and American cultural influences. Includes a study of the Constitution of California.

Class modality is face-to-face. Classes may be held during weekdays and / or evenings at any of the campus sites (Chula Vista National City Otay Mesa and / or San Ysidro).

Qualifications

Masters in Latino Studies La Raza Studies Chicana / o Studies OR Masters in Ethnic Studies OR the equivalent.

Applicants with foreign degrees from colleges or universities outside of the United States must have their coursework evaluated by a professional association that is a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services ( NACES) or Academic Credentials Evaluation Institute INC. ( ACEI) . A copy of the evaluation must be submitted with online application.
