Store Manager
Maeve is taking center stage with its own dedicated storesAnthropologie's latest retail concept that brings one of our most cherished in-house brands to life in a standalone space. We're opening our newest store in Atlanta, GA and we are currently looking for a Store Manager to help shape this exciting chapter.
The Store Manager leads the team to drive sales by exemplifying the highest level of service, selling and styling. Their goal is to deliver an environment that is engaging and inspiring to the customer while fostering continual team development to create a culture of creativity, collaboration, innovation, and trust.
Role Responsibilities
- Cultivates a welcoming and inclusive environment- highly focused on delivering exceptional, genuine and personalized customer experiences
- Protects a one-on-one service and selling culture by motivating the team to consistently engage in customer relationships and elevated styling
- Leads the team in a frictionless customer experience by utilizing technology to clientele, transact in the moment and assist the customer with all omni-channel needs
- Drives meaningful connection to the community by networking with local businesses and organizations to identify potential opportunities for engagement and store events
- Promotes an inclusive environment by representing and amplifying all voices, actively seeking and advocating for different perspectives
- Develops a proactive talent strategy to build different perspectives and experience to the team
- Engages the team to fuel internal growth; protecting consistent hiring, onboarding and training to drive a strong brand, customer and store connection
- Prioritizes team growth by protecting development; champions SPARKED initiative, employee recognition and team-building activities
- Oversees and collaborates with the leadership team to plan daily, weekly and monthly operating procedures; actively assesses sales forecasts, store controls, staff scheduling and payroll management adjusting accordingly
- Assesses store business using company reporting to identify global opportunities for the store; empowers team to make strategic, creative and business-impacting decisions
- Guides and supports the creative process to ensure timely and effective execution of visual merchandising and display priorities
- Ensures product flow processes including shipment and omni operations are prioritized and executed efficiently to positively impact sales and the customer experience
- Leads with a people-first philosophy; protects time for employees to encourage open dialogue to ensure that the store team is heard and supported
- Fosters open communication and teamwork to ensure a collaborative environment; responds to all communication in a timely manner and ensures important company information reaches all levels of the team
- Educates the team on scheduling expectations while maintaining team availability, requests off, and skill set to ensure ideal staffing
- Provides store and product insights related to the customer experience and communicates to District Manager and Home Office partners; participates within company and district forums through sharing store specific scenarios and ideas
