Capitol Language Services is a company founded in 2006 serving public and private schools in Washington D.C.

Our Spanish language program aims to foster the development of a strong foundation for foreign-language acquisition while providing effective, engaging instruction at the elementary and middle school levels.

Title of position : Spanish Language Teacher

Location : Monday and Wednesday : Hearst Elementary School, NW Washington, DC

Tuesday and Thursday : Lafayette Elementary School, NW Washington, DC

Hours : 3 : 30-5 : 30 pm

Compensation : $35 / hour

Key responsibilities :

• Teaching Spanish language courses to students at the elementary level.
• CLS curriculum must be strictly followed. The selected teacher will be required to plan challenging and engaging lessons and experiences designed to help students achieve content and curriculum standards. Ensure that lessons have multiple entry points and support structures, so that children with different abilities and learning styles are successful.
• Maintaining regular communication with parents and CLS office.
