Dispatch Coordinator / Administrative Assistant

As the Dispatch Coordinator / Administrative Assistant you will assist teammates and customers by managing daily office tasks, scheduling teams to customer locations, and providing polite and professional assistance via phone and email. If you are organized, customer-focused, and thrive on helping others in their time of need, this role offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispatch and schedule restoration teams to incoming leads and projects in coordination with the production team
  • Perform fundamental daily administrative tasks to assist the office team
  • Coordinate crew and job scheduling
  • Review and maintain the scheduling software so that appropriate teams are routed accordingly
  • Perform detailed and accurate data entry
  • Receive incoming calls about past services, follow-ups on current projects, general inquiries about business and other routine communications
  • Collaborate and assist with other departments, as needed

    • Position Requirements

  • High school diploma / GED (preferred)
  • At least 2 years of customer service and / or office-related experience
  • Prior dispatch experience preferred
  • Ability to multitask and to remain detail-oriented
  • Knowledge of local geographical area is preferred
  • Must be knowledgeable in relevant computer applications
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • This is a sedentary role in a fast-paced office environment. Some filing is required which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bending or standing as necessary. Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law.
