About the Clinician's Workday
This role follows a 410 schedule, with a strong preference for candidates who can work Friday-Monday at least some weeks, with flexibility for rotating weekends. There is no call, and the provider typically sees around 10 patients per day, with a maximum of 15, treating adult male and female patients. The position blends primary care and urgent care, so the ideal candidate should be comfortable with both chronic care management and urgent care procedures. Required credentials include an active New Mexico license, DEA, and ACLS. Support staff includes nurses, paramedics, and EMTs, and the EMR is Cerner. Credentialing takes about 90 days, and timely completion of paperwork is important to avoid delays.
