Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist for Weekend Days. This position requires working from 6 : 30 am to 3 pm every Saturday and Sunday, with additional hours from 6 : 30 am to 7 pm every Monday and Friday. Required certifications include CST and BLS (American Heart Association), and we prefer candidates with 2+ years of CV (open heart) experience. Qualified candidates may be eligible for up to $10,000 in relocation assistance.

Located in the heart of the Texas Medical Center, our HVI OR team offers an exciting opportunity to work with a world-class integrated health system known for its clinical expertise, patient-centered care, leading-edge technology, and innovation.

In this role, you will provide proficient perioperative patient care using specialized equipment and instrumentation. You will function as a scrub assistant to the physician during operative and / or invasive procedures, under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. This position also serves as a role model and resource for other staff members.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education : Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program
• License / Certification : Certified in Basic Life Support; Current Certification as a Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology & Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
