DISBURSEMENT SPECIALIST

Salary $42,000

This role is fully onsite.

ABOUT THE COMPANY :

CFS Dayton is partnering with one of Dayton's premier higher education institutions to fulfill an immediate opening for a Disbursement Specialist within their dynamic accounting department.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF DISBURSEMENT SPECIALIST :

  • Perform daily reconciliations of travel and business card documentation to ensure accuracy, promptly identifying discrepancies or issues.
  • The Disbursement Specialist will enter invoices into financial statements with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Analyze disbursement data and financial records to ensure proper allocation of funds.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly and effectively to maintain financial integrity.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE FOR DISBURSEMENT SPECIALIST :

  • Customer service experience with a focus on resolving inquiries effectively.
  • The Disbursement Specialist must have knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and principles.
  • Proficiency in reconciliation techniques to maintain accurate financial records.
  • The Disbursement Specialist must have basic proficiency in Excel for data entry and simple data analysis tasks.
