We are currently looking for an ambitious Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team! As a COTA on our team, you will assist with the coordination of patient-centered and occupational-based goals to ensure diagnostic and therapeutic services and rehabilitation which are provided to our patients. Your duties and responsibilities may include accurately following established treatment plans, recording, monitoring, and reviewing clinical data, adapting recognized therapeutic techniques and modalities to meet the needs of the patient, and participating in rounding and proactively responding to patient needs to improve patient outcomes and positively affect overall patient experience.

Requirements include an associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from a school accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association, experience in an appropriate healthcare setting, clear / active Florida Department of Health licensure (OTA), current Basic Life Support (BLS), critical thinking, service excellence, good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read / comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills, and the ability to lift 50 lbs maximum with frequent lifting and / or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
