Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

SimVentions is actively seeking a talented and experienced cybersecurity professional to enhance our cybersecurity operations! As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be instrumental in system hardening, vulnerability assessment, and security compliance activities aligned with DoD requirements. Ideal candidates will possess a robust foundation in cybersecurity practices and have demonstrated experience in both Linux and Windows environments within DoD networks. You'll collaborate with Blue Team, Red Team, and other Cybersecurity experts to bolster cyber readiness and system accreditation.

• Please note that this position is contingent upon the award of a contract, expected in December of 2025.

Clearance : An active Secret clearance (IT Level II Tier 5 / Special-Sensitive Position) is mandatory. Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for classified information access. US Citizenship is essential to obtain a clearance.

A combined total of ten (10) years of professional experience in the following areas :

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.

Compensation : SimVentions offers a competitive salary determined by various factors including experience, education, training, security clearance, and skills. The projected annual compensation range for this position is $90,000 - $140,000 (USD).
