Position Overview :
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing Inc. is hiring licensed Occupational Therapists to provide in-person therapy services for students in Durham Public Schools. The OT will work with students to develop functional, adaptive, and fine motor skills that support educational success in alignment with each student’s IEP.

Education : Master's in Occupational TherapyLicensure :Active North Carolina license from the NC Board of Occupational Therapy (NCBOT).
Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).Experience : School-based setting (preferred)Soft Skills : Collaborative consultation, adaptive creativity, educational partnership.Additional Requirements :Must complete the NC DCDEE Criminal Background Check if assigned to preschool programs.
Participation in DPS onboarding and compliance training is required.Must pass required background checks and fingerprinting.Key Responsibilities :
Conduct initial and re-evaluation assessments in compliance with IDEA and DPS Exceptional Children’s procedures.Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions supporting IEP goals.Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote functional performance.Provide consultation to staff on classroom adaptations and student engagement.Maintain documentation and progress notes using DPS-approved platforms.Participate in IEP meetings, staff collaboration, and professional development.
