Position Summary :
The Associate Planner will play a key supporting role in the pre-season and in-season planning processes. This individual will analyze historical data, help forecast demand, and support seasonal strategies across multiple categories. They’ll work closely with cross-functional partners in Merchandising, Operations, Marketing, and Analytics to help align product availability with marketing moments and business goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in building pre-season plans for sales, margin, and inventory by category
- Monitor weekly performance and support in-season reforecasting and open-to-buy tracking
- Analyze historical trends to support SKU count decisions and category planning
- Prepare data and summaries for key business recaps and seasonal hindsight presentations
- Support promotional planning and dynamic product cost impact assessments through ad hoc reporting
- Collaborate with the Analytics team to create and maintain reporting dashboards (sell-through, margin trends, inventory position, etc.)
- Partner with Operations to align business efficiencies
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Merchandising, or a related field2-4 years of experience in retail planning, merchandising, or related analyticsStrong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, IF statements); familiarity with retail math conceptsHighly analytical, detail-oriented, and organizedStrong written and verbal communication skillsAble to work independently and cross-functionally in a hybrid corporate settingPreferred Background :
Strong interest or background in fashion, specifically menswear, is highly preferred.Job Type : Full-time
Location : Hybrid remote and on-site in Sparks, Maryland office
Pay : $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
