American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring at least 4 years of OR and trauma experience, with a KY or Compact license.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a hospital Operating Room settingDay shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7 : 00 to 19 : 30Cares for a variety of surgical cases, including traumaLevel 2 trauma experience required; Level 1 preferredWeekend shifts requiredOn-call responsibilities with weekday call from 8PM-6AM, and weekend call in two 12-hour shiftsExpected on-call frequency is 2-3 shifts per 6-week schedule periodMust be able to circulate a wide range of OR casesFloating required within the hospital and to affiliated hospitals nearbyResponsibilities include circulating for a broad range of surgical cases and responding to trauma casesCandidates will float within PACU and between affiliated hospital sites as neededOrientation modules must be completed during onboarding and annually, averaging 6.5 hours outside paid hoursReturn staff must have been separated for at least 90 days to be eligibleAll previous employment at this facility must be disclosed for eligibility verificationFirst-time travelers will be consideredSpecific dress code or scrub requirements will be provided at orientation\n \n Requirements\n
