Client Relationship Consultant 1-4 (Banker)

Location : Adams County - Grant County - Yakima County, WA (30-40 hrs)

Job Description

Client Relationship Consultants build relationships with customers by meeting face-to-face and engaging them when and where they need counsel. Strong client relationships are based on trust, assessing and attending to customers' banking needs, obtaining and processing customer and account information, educating clients on available deposit and loan products and services, and recommending financial solutions based on each customer's unique goals and needs. They are also responsible for originating and closing consumer loans, opening accounts, and opening and / or closing the branch.

Requirements :

  • NMLS registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. Required background and credit check.

Experience :

  • 1 to 5 years of customer service and sales experience.
  • Client Relationship Consultant Levels

    Level 1

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–2 years of job-related retail banking experience or equivalent training.
  • Level 2

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3–4 years of job-related retail banking experience or equivalent training.
  • Level 3

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 4–5 years of job-related retail banking experience or equivalent training.
  • Level 4

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of job-related retail banking experience or equivalent training.
  • Preferred Skills / Experience (all levels)

  • Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow-up.
  • Effective engagement and communication with clients.
  • Basic to advanced knowledge of bank & branch policies, procedures, and support systems.
  • Customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with digital products and self-service technologies.
  • Ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Experience in the financial services industry (preferred).
