Operating within a Monday to Friday schedule, this opportunity allows you to engage with both pediatric and adult populations, meeting a minimum patient engagement of 18 per day. Key Details Assignment Type : Locum Tenens Setting : Outpatient Clinic Start Date : 12 / 15 / 2025 - Ongoing Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM Patient Population : All Ages Location : Eureka, CA Stipends : Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates Benefits Weekly direct deposit Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Supportive credentialing assistance Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable) Flexible scheduling Job Responsibilities Manage a patient load, ensuring a minimum of 18 patient visits per day Provide comprehensive family medicine care, including chronic pain management Ensure chart closure within 72 hours Deliver care to a mix of pediatric and adult patients Qualifications Must have an active DEA before the start Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine Must hold current BLS certification Experience in gynecological procedures and pediatric care preferred DO and BE candidates considered Working Hours Monday to Friday 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM Occasional varied shifts may apply Skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Proficient in managing chronic pain and family health needs Ability to navigate electronic medical records for timely charting Please note that all credentialing requirements need to be met before the start date, including flu vaccination, TB status, and various immunizations.
