Ocean State Veterinary Specialists (OSVS) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Technician to join our Neurology department team. Our collaborative environment is made up of talented veterinary professionals who genuinely care about both our patients and clients. Position Overview :
Technicians perform a variety of animal-health duties to ensure exceptional patient care. Technicians should be proficient in intermediate nursing duties including but not limited to patient assessment and monitoring, phlebotomy, IVC placement, medication / fluid administration, medical calculations, anesthesia monitoring, etc. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of neurology and the ability remain calm during stressful situations.

OSVS is located in East Greenwich, RI. OSVS is a 35,000-sf building with a very busy emergency service, a nationally respected internship and residency program, and specialists in Emergency / Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Radiology, Cardiology, Neurology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, and Avian / Exotics. Specialized equipment includes telemetry, endoscopy, CT scanner, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and MRI. Located in Southern New England, OSVS sees and treats pets from Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.
