Job description

Job Description :

  • Dispense medications and provide pharmaceutical care to patients in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective medication use for patients.
  • Conduct medication therapy management and medication reconciliation services.
  • Educate patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medication records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to medication management.
  • Stay current with developments in the field of pharmacy practice and adhere to all relevant laws and regulations.

Skills :

  • Strong knowledge of pharmacology and medication therapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing.
  • Proficiency in using pharmacy software and electronic health records.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to underserved populations.

    • Requirements

    Required Skills :

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid pharmacist license in the state of practice.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and therapeutic protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in using pharmacy management software and technology.
