Requirements / Qualifications

SCOE Substitute Para Educator Application Copy of SCOE Para Educator Proficiency Test Certificate (Applicants that meet the Minimum Requirements and did not submit a copy of the SCOE Para Educator Proficiency Test or equivalent will receive an e-mail invitation to attend the testing) OR one of the following : SCOE ESSA / NCLB test certificate, CBEST or transcripts showing date AA Degree or higher was awarded. Must be at least 18 years of age. ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS : The following documents are NOT required at the time of application but will be required of the selected applicant prior to employment :

• Department of Justice Fingerprint clearance
• Tuberculosis Skin Test clearance
• Physical / drug screen clearance
• Original signed Social Security Card with current name on it (for payroll purposes)
• Picture I.D.
