  • The organization is in need of a Sr. Lawson Financial Analyst on a full time basis. Daily Responsibilities : The role involves on-call rotation, handling help desk tickets, direct user requests, troubleshooting, and participating in large projects, including replacing COBOL programs with process flows.

    Formal Job Description :

    The Business and Finance Information Systems Analyst serves as a strategic partner to the Business and Finance departments, supporting the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of enterprise applications-primarily within a healthcare environment. This role also collaborates with Supply Chain and Human Resources teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality across systems.

    The analyst will be responsible for application development, process improvement, and ongoing support for financial and administrative systems, with a strong focus on the Lawson S3 Suite and related technologies. Will work on user account provisioning for Lawson, as well as other systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    Application Support & Development

    Plan, coordinate, implement, test, and maintain financial and administrative applications.

    Develop custom solutions and reports using Lawson tools, SQL, and standard PC software.

    Collaborate with programming teams to design and deploy enhancements.

    User Access & Security

    Manage user account provisioning for Lawson and other enterprise systems.

    Administer Lawson and Infor security protocols, including Lawson Process Flows (IPA).

    Reporting & Analytics

    Create and maintain reports using Lawson Excel Add-ins, SQL, and third-party tools.

    Support data analysis initiatives across Business, Finance, Supply Chain, and HR.

    Support & Training

    Train users as needed on new products and processes.

    Monitor system usage and ensure high levels of user satisfaction.

    Qualifications

    Required Experience

    3-5 years of progressive experience in healthcare information systems.

    Expertise in financial and administrative systems, especially :

    Lawson S3 Suite

    Lawson Process Flows (IPA)

    Lawson and Infor Security Administration

    Proficiency in :

    Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio

    SQL programming

    ODBC connections

    Microsoft Office Suite

    Preferred Experience

    Familiarity with :

    Strata Budget, McKesson Billing, and Cost Accounting systems

    Lawson ION, Landmark, Birst, Data Lake / Data Fabric

    Supply Chain workflows and WFM Analytics

    Work Force Management (WFM)

    Experience with API development a plus

    Ideal Candidate Attributes

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities

    Experience in extracting and manipulating data via SQL and other methods

    Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement

    Comfortable working in a dynamic healthcare IT environment
