Position Description

Geronimo Power is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee, perform and improve all operating asset accounting functions related to our solar and wind projects. This individual will work to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and quality of overall accounting functions with respect to the company’s operating assets. The Senior Accountant will support the company’s growth and business objectives by providing operational financial analysis, compiling and producing financial performance information, aiding in the preparation and delivery of high-level presentations, and providing financial visibility to management across all operations departments. This individual will report directly to the Accounting Manager of Operating Assets and will be a key player in driving process improvement and ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting requirements and requests from investors and other stakeholders.

Duties

• General Ledger / Reporting

Complete general ledger ownership for operating entities, including month-end close, GL integrity, trial balance reconciliation, etc.

Gathers information necessary for auditors to perform their audit and provides organizational context to auditors

Works closely with the asset management and operations team leads to collaborate on budget strategy and provide relevant spend information

Experience

High degree of initiative and accountability

Pay range for the posted level : $98,000 – 115,000.00
