Location : Newark, NJ

Hours : 7 : 30 AM – 4 : 30 PM

Employment Type : Full-Time

Compensation : $110,000 – $140,000 (based on experience)

Benefits Eligibility : After 60 days

Description

We're seeking an experienced and people-driven Production Assembly Manager to lead all day shift operations across a high-volume assembly department. You'll oversee approximately 75 employees and ensure every product component is assembled with efficiency, safety, and precision.

This role requires strong leadership, operational discipline, and the ability to motivate and develop teams in a fast-paced environment. The right candidate will bring both hands-on production management expertise and high emotional intelligence to build trust, drive performance, and maintain seamless day-to-day operations.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in production or manufacturing management.
• Proven ability to lead large teams (50+ employees) in a fast-paced setting.
• Deep understanding of production flow, assembly processes, and quality standards.
• Excellent leadership and motivational skills with a team-first approach.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• High emotional intelligence and calm, confident leadership under pressure.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
