Job descriptionMinimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant Experience in Oncology / Surgical Breast Oncology required Local candidates only (must live within 50 miles) First-time travelers NOT accepted Pay Rate : Based on experience (Local candidates receive local rates) Base Pay Rate : $23.00 / hr Holiday Pay : Applies to major holidays Scrubs : Provided COVID-19 Vaccine : Not required Flu Vaccine : Required (medical / religious exemptions allowed) RTO (Requested Time Off) : Must be pre-approved and submitted at the time of application

Shift : Day Shift, 5x8-Hour (08 : 00 - 17 : 00)
Duration : 8-12 weeks
Positions Available : 1
Responsibilities :
- Assist in breast surgical oncology practice as a medical assistant & scribe
- Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respirations)
- Document patient history, medications, and allergies
- Handle pharmacy calls and patient refill requests
- Perform telephone triage and follow-up calls
- Room patients and review lab test results
