Job Overview
The SharePoint Administrator will manage and maintain the SharePoint environment, ensuring effective collaboration and document management, and acting as a key technical expert. Responsibilities include configuring, customizing, troubleshooting the platform, managing user permissions, developing workflows, and ensuring security, performance, compliance, and alignment with the companys objectives.
Your Impact
- Champion and expand usage of SharePoint as the central hub of company documents.
- Assess current SharePoint sites for content, structure, and ease of use.
- Implement best practices to design and implement modern SharePoint Online site design aligned with business needs.
- Plan and execute site migrations from existing SharePoint sites.
- Create and maintain documentation for site configurations, permissions, workflows, and customizations.
- Provide training and support to end?users and site owners.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint?related issues.
- Maintain critical planning, monitoring, and reporting processes to ensure timely coordination and completion of project tasks.
- Assign appropriate access rights and permissions to users and groups, ensuring data security and proper collaboration.
- Design, develop, and maintain workflows to automate business processes and improve efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in an applicable field and 3 years of experience creating and administering SharePoint sites, or 7 years of direct experience.Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture, administration, and configuration.Hands?on experience with site migrations, redesigns, and content restructuring.Proficiency with modern pages, hubs, permissions, metadata, and document libraries.Ability to design and implement workflows using SharePoint Designer or other tools.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with other business tools.Experience with Smartsheet is desirable.Company Overview
