• Other details : The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 4 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper call if needed. There are an average of 12-15 patients per shift. A full-time Hematology Oncology provider is needed, ideally available to work five shifts per week and four weeks per month, though candidates with three-week availability may also be considered. The oncology clinic is connected to a chemotherapy treatment center and hospital, and the program is COC accredited, managing approximately 500 analytic cases annually. Providers must hold an active California license and have at least two years of recent inpatient experience to qualify for privileges. The call schedule is typically one week out of every three, during which the provider will work regular clinic hours and take call in the evenings, with 24-hour phone-only call coverage on weekends no in-person callbacks are required. Patient appointments run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 : 30 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break.
