Job descriptionMonitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific policies. Assist with visitor management processes, including maintaining logs and issuing temporary badges as required by the location's procedures. Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting individuals entering or exiting the premises. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and location guidelines. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for security-related concerns. Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual observations, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel. Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns as needed. Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal supervisors to communicate security-related updates and maintain awareness of any changes in procedures. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Security Professional - Manufacturing Site Patrol - Full Time
As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment for employees and visitors.
