Nuclear Medicine Technologist
MLR (MLee Recruiting) is looking for a dedicated, full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a talented team at a well-established acute-care hospital near Trent, Texas.
Salary : $68,011 - $98,289 annually
Primary Duties :
Radiopharmaceutical Preparation and Administration : Safely prepare and administer radioactive substances for diagnostic imaging.
Diagnostic Imaging : Conduct imaging procedures to support physicians in diagnosing various health conditions.
Schedule : Day shifts, Monday through Friday.
Radiation Protection : Follow stringent safety protocols to reduce radiation exposure for both patients and staff.
Laboratory Testing : Perform laboratory analysis of patient samples as necessary.
Scheduling : Efficiently organize and coordinate patient appointments.
Patient Guidance : Provide clear explanations of procedures, helping patients feel informed and at ease.
Requirements :
Education : Graduate of an accredited program in Radiology or Nuclear Medicine.
Experience : At least 2 years in the field of nuclear medicine.
Certifications : NMTCB or ARRT certification is required.
Licensure : Must hold a Texas Medical Board license as an MRT.
CPR / BLS Certification : Must be current.
Technical Knowledge : Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine practices and protocols.
IV Skills : Proficient in IV placements.
EKG and Stress Testing : Familiar with EKG and stress testing procedures.
Injection Skills : Experienced in administering injections for pharmacologic testing.
