Description & Responsibilities

We are seeking a reliable and experienced part-time Delivery Driver to operate our box truck for a weekly delivery route from Fairfield, CT to Brooklyn, NY. This role involves a 6-hour round trip, typically once per week, and includes heavy lifting during loading and unloading. Ideal candidates will have experience driving box trucks and preferably hold a valid CDL, though it is not strictly required.

As a Delivery Driver, You Will :

  • Safely operate a company-owned box truck on a scheduled weekly route to Brooklyn, NY from Fairfield, CT
  • Load and unload deliveries, including handling heavy items (must be comfortable with lifting)
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time
  • Follow all DOT regulations, company safety standards, and traffic laws
  • Communicate any delays, issues, or vehicle concerns to management promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle

Job Requirements

  • English
  • Basic Spanish (preferred but not required)
  • Experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles (required)
  • CDL license (preferred, not required)
  • Clean driving record
  • Able to lift and move heavy items (up to 75 lbs.)
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional
  • Strong communication and time management skills
