Field Application Engineer

Job Description :

We are seeking a Field Application Engineer that possesses excellent communication and superior customer service skills. The applicant shall have experience in networking, troubleshooting, and exhibit creative problem solving. The position requires travel within the US and possible international travel.

What You Need for this Position :

• Proven ability to manage and grow customer relationships and accounts
• Understanding of IP networks and TCP / IP technologies (DNS, SNMP, etc.)
• Knowledge of Wireless & RF network topologies
• Good understanding of IP Routing, Network security & VPNs
• Basic understanding of LINUX & Windows based platforms
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas and designs to both technical and non-technical staff
• Applicant must be able to multi-task and participate in a hands-on manner
• Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative manner with an extended team of peers to ensure customer requirements are satisfied
• Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Visio, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
