Job Summary :
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Legal Advisor / Contract Specialist to provide strategic legal support across the company's global operations. This role involves advising on a wide range of legal matters, drafting and negotiating complex IT and ITES-related agreements, and ensuring compliance with employment and regulatory requirements across multiple geographies. The role requires providing legal advice and opinions on a host of issues pertaining to day-to-day operations of the company and its initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
Contract Management :
Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements including :
- Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
- Statements of Work (SOWs)
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Confidentiality Agreements
- IT and ITES-related contracts
Primarily, drafting, vetting, and negotiating various types of IT and ITES-related agreements, Non-disclosure / Confidentiality agreements, Master Service Agreements and related agreements.
Ensure contracts are compliant with applicable laws and aligned with business objectives.
Legal Advisory :
Provide timely and practical legal advice to internal stakeholders on :Employment law and workplace mattersStatutory and regulatory compliance across geographiesRisk mitigation strategiesThe responsibility is to provide legal advice and opinions on a host of issues pertaining to day-to-day operations of the company and its initiatives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, Procurement, and Operations.Global Support
Support business operations in North America, Europe, and LATAM regions.Provide advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on a wide range of topics including employment matters, statutory & regulatory compliance matters across geographies. Work closely with all functional groups.Stay updated on international legal developments and ensure compliance with local laws.Stakeholder Engagement :Independently interact with managers and leaders across all levels of the organization.Build strong relationships with internal teams to proactively address legal issues.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB); Master's degree (LLM) preferred.8+ years of relevant experience in corporate legal advisory, preferably in IT / ITES sectors.Strong understanding of international contract law and employment regulations.Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across time zones.Preferred Skills :
Experience working in a global legal team.Familiarity with data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong business acumen.
