Picture your shift : you arrive to a tidy, safe work area, check the production lines, and tune equipment so every cycle meets spec. As our Plant Equipment Maintenance Mechanic, you’ll keep high-volume machinery humming—troubleshooting issues before they escalate, swapping out worn components, and teaming up with operators, technicians, engineers, and area leadership to hit output goals without sacrificing quality.

What your day looks like

  • Lead with safety—follow all plant safety and environmental practices and maintain an orderly workspace.
  • Monitor running lines and make precise adjustments to ensure quality production.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment faults; drive corrective actions that raise quality and OEE.
  • Repair / replace components such as solenoids, valves, and cylinders.
  • Execute line and machine changeovers and optimize setups to reduce changeover time.
  • Meet planned production quantities to keep customer commitments.
  • Complete technical training to expand your skills and impact.
  • Partner closely with Operators, Manufacturing Technicians, Engineers, and leaders to solve problems in real time.

What you bring

  • High School Diploma or GED; 18+ years of age.
  • Clear verbal and written communication; comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Thrive in a noisy, fast-paced production setting; act with self-initiative.
  • 2+ years in manufacturing assembly or machining.
  • Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanics, and blueprint / print reading.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, leadership, and teamwork.
  • Flexibility to work alternate shifts and adapt to changing priorities.

    • Hands-on strengths that stand out : Pneumatics experience and troubleshooting, hydraulics experience, and blueprint reading.

    Backgrounds that succeed here : Maintenance Technician, Manufacturing Technician, Setup Technician, Equipment Technician, or similar.

    Pay and rewards

  • Starting hourly rate : $30.08–$32.20 based on experience, with potential to earn up to $38.15 as your skills and contribution grow.
  • Time away : 16 days PTO to start (up to 30 days with seniority), 5 Personal Days (PAA), and 9 company-paid holidays.
  • Parental benefits : 6 weeks paid parental leave; adoption assistance.
