The Driver position acts is responsible for the transferring of raw materials and finished products between the various warehouses in San Diego. They are responsible for the monitoring and recordkeeping of all transfer / delivery vehicles per DOT standards. This position works under the general direction of the Director of Supply Planning.

Daily Duties, Functions, Responsibilities :

• Be a contributing member of a process driven team.
• Drive commercial delivery trucks, vans, and / or tractor-trailer combinations to transfer raw materials and finished products between warehouse locations.
• Transfer flammable materials / hazmat between warehouses as needed.
• Complete and submit all required paperwork, documenting the transfer of items.
• Ensure accurate completion of Department of Transportation checklist and report maintenance problems and accidents in a timely manner.
• Manually load and unload product from end loader truck.
• Provide support to greater Operations Team as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
